Homemade Ginger Ale

Ingredients

  • Water — 4000 ml
  • Fresh ginger — 450 g
  • Fresh lemon juice — 600 ml
  • Sugar — 800 g
  • Bay leaf — 2 pcs

Method of preparation

  1. Dissolve the sugar in a mixture of water and lemon juice.
  2. Add finely chopped ginger and bring to a boil.
  3. Once it boils, remove from the heat, add the bay leaves, cover, and let infuse for 4 hours.
  4. Strain thoroughly, chill, and carbonate.
